What we process

easm.ch uses no JavaScript, no analytics or advertising services and loads no content from third parties. When you visit, the web server stores technically necessary data in log files: IP address, date and time, requested address, status code, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier. The purpose is secure operation (troubleshooting, defence against attacks). The logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest unless they are needed longer to investigate an incident.

Cookie for the appearance

Only if you explicitly choose the appearance (light or dark) at the top right does a cookie “theme” store this choice for one year. It only contains the value “light” or “dark”, is not evaluated and is not passed on. Choosing “Automatic” deletes it.

Hosting

The website runs on a server of Server4You (Server4You GmbH, Hanau, Germany) in the data centre in Strasbourg (France). A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider. France has an adequate level of data protection (Annex 1 Swiss Data Protection Ordinance).

Your rights

You can request information about your data and its correction or deletion (Art. 25 ff. Swiss FADP). Write to datenschutz@eam.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

The eam.ch service has its own privacy policy. The German version is authoritative.
